Popularly known as Amade Abdula, a true example of resilience, commitment, and hard work at Zagope.
Born in 1983, in Maputo – Mozambique, Amade Abdula, the 3rd child of 7 brothers and sisters, did not have an easy childhood as he had to start working very early to help his family and ensure the continuity of his studies. However, living conditions made him drop out of school to pursue a career path. Without proper qualifications and a lack of experience and skills for a better job, Amade ended up pursuing the Taxi Driver career.
Amade’s Journey with Zagope began at a time when he was already working as a taxi driver. In one of his rides, a client entered his taxi, and along the way they talked about different subjects, Amade caught his customer’s attention, who collected his resume. After a few months, Amade was invited to a job interview and among several candidates, he was selected and signed a contract in May 2013, as a driver in the administrative area.
In 2018, Amade went back to study to finish his technical course in accounting and auditing and completed it in 2020. The studies were paid for by Zagope, in the training package for collaborators, which he was privileged to receive.
In 2020, Amade was given an opportunity in the procurement area, to fill a vacancy as a procurement assistant, a position that he holds to this day. As an exemplary employee, Amade dedicates all his energy to learning more and more every day and is grateful for the support he receives from all his co-workers, not only from his department but also from external stakeholders and markets.
Amade is now attending college, pursuing an accounting and auditing course, once again the expenses are covered for by Zagope.
