ZAGOPE, an engineering and construction company operating in Europe, Africa and Asia, believes in career progression and strongly recommends it to its collaborators for their continuous development & growth. ZAGOPE’s inclusion policy creates conditions for all collaborators to feel part of the company and seeks to create opportunities for all. Jeremias Mucambane Machacair is an example of ZAGOPE’s commitment to collaborators’ development.
Machacair was admitted to ZAGOPE on November 4th, 2010, to work as a Driver of Light Vehicles, performing administrative services. Later, he became the Driver of the Board of Directors (the Driver who had the main function to assist the members of the Board of Directors), for six years. On other hand, Machacair wanted so badly to go back to school to have the necessary qualifications for job opportunities that open internally. So, he went back to school and opted for the accounting and auditing course, which opened another door for him in the professional field.
After some time, there was a vacancy for an accountant, Machacair applied and fortunately was successful. At the time, the country manager Fabiano Brandão, whom Machacair thanks in advance, was the person who believed in him since he knew that he was graduating in the accounting area. On February 20th, 2017, Machacair started his new position and was very well received in the accounting department by his colleague Nilton Lamúgio, whom he considers his “Master” because it was in fact by his hand that Machacair became an accountant.
Today, Machacair is an Accountant, with a career of 6 years, and has a degree in Accounting and Auditing. He is thankful to all of ZAGOPE’s team for the support and strength during these years because without each of you it would not have been possible. He is also grateful to the successive Boards of Directors that he has been able to work with, by making his dream come true.
